I consider knives to be one of the greatest tools ever created. Personally I prefer tactical styles (both fixed and folding) but I appreciate the functionality and purpose of other designs.

I often ask myself, what is the purpose of a dull knife? A terrible hammer? I, like many, used to simply put up with a dull blade and when absolutely necessary would resort to using a cheap (or expensive) sharpening system that would do little to improve the situation.
